RUDA celebrates receiving £19,800 from The National Lottery Community Fund. The money will allow the organisation to deliver the SAFE CEE – Safeguarding Toolkit for Romanian-Speaking Families project, which will run until September 2027.
The project will see RUDA develop a dedicated safeguarding guide designed to support Romanian-speaking families. The toolkit will provide accessible, culturally appropriate safeguarding information to help families better understand and navigate safeguarding processes in the UK.
Mariana Plamadeala, Director/Founder RUDA CIC, says:
“We are grateful that The National Lottery Community Fund has recognised the importance of this work. We have always wanted to create this guide and we are so happy that our team can finally start. Thanks to National Lottery players, Romanian-speaking families will have access to vital safeguarding information in a way that is meaningful and accessible to them.”
