International Roma Day is celebrated by the international community, annually, on April 8, in honor of the recognition of the culture, history and rights of the millions of Roma around the world, but also to draw attention to the challenges of discrimination faced by Roma communities in Europe and from everywhere.
Many of the 10-12 million Roma in Europe still suffer from poverty and exclusion.
We invite you to a dialogue with our friends from Belfast, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Dudley. They are all community leaders who get involved in everyday activities to help the Roma community in the area where they live.
About stereotypes, history, traditions, culture, art, rights, discrimination and many other interesting stories about Roma, we are waiting for you at 18:00 UK time – LIVE stream on the RUDA page.
